Discover your RQ

Many people always try to do whatever they can to improve their bodies, thus enhance their lives. Eat healthier, workout more, sleep better, avoid stress and so on and so forth. That’s all great, but how do you really know that what you’re doing is making a difference at the end of the day?

Your body’s science is telling you something and we can help you translate. Introduce the RefreshinQ Quotient. It’s a comprehensive program designed to help you reach your goals through the use of scientific insights and dedicated coaching. In essence, it pinpoints the key nutrients your body may be lacking and provides recommendations to help guide your wellness with coaching guidance.

Powered by InsideTracker, the leader in personalized health analytics, RQ is designed to help you discover what nutrients your body may be lacking. Through a blood test and InsideTracker’s analysis of 12 key blood biomarkers, we can help you better understand the science of your body and provide recommendations for improvement.

With the RQ program, your RQ Health Coaches can provide one-on-one coaching to help you better understand your blood test results, customize a plan for you and help guide you through recommendations to understand what supplements, dietary changes, or exercise regimens your body may need to help support your wellness goals. What are biomarkers and what will yours reveal about you?

In essence, biomarkers are measurable, biological “markers” or characteristics that can aid in predicting and understanding each person's health. Biomarkers are dynamic indicators of your health and wellness, and can be altered by simple changes to your supplements, nutrition and exercise routines. RQ measures 12 or 41 of these blood biomarkers, depending on the test you select, and specifically focuses on identifying gaps in your body’s strength, endurance, energy, metabolism, and performance to help you understand what may be holding you back. To better understand, here are the biomarkers included in the test that measures 12 of your essential biomarkers:

Biomarkers

Energy & Metabolism

Glucose

Total Cholesterol

High-density Lipoprotein (HDL)

Low-density Lipoprotein (LDL)

Triglycerides

Strength & Endurance

Creatine Kinase

Bone & Muscle Health

Calcium

Vitamin D

Brain & Body

Magnesium

Folate

Oxygen & Performance

Hemoglobin

Ferritin

Biomarker testing has become more mainstream and may have many benefits and applications for not just the health-conscious, but the general public. Knowing your own personal biomarkers levels is one key to a healthy life because biomarkers point to something that people may adjust by changing their nutritional intake and activity.

If supplements are needed to get biomarkers back on track, it's usually best to obtain these from the diet; but, sometimes diet alone is not enough. There is a condition called nutrient depletion that can be brought on by medication regimens, inherited disorders, physical activity overuse and other conditions.

For example, we learned from the biomarkers that caffeine intake can cause your magnesium level to be decreased. High impact exercise can alter ferritin. Processed foods can spike blood glucose. There are many factors that may come into play. Sometimes biomarker levels can be easily brought back to normal range with adding supplements to a daily regimen.

Knowledge is power, and having an understanding of biomarkers, their impact on our bodies and health, may help you understand why knowing your RQ can be such a game-changer.
